The Perkin-Elmer TGA 4000 is running and set up to measure dynamic gas adsorption

The differential scanning calorimeter with autosampler is ready to go! This will be used to measure the thermal stability of various materials made in our lab.

In order to increase ventilation in the lab we have installed a new walk-in hood. This hood allows us to safely store chemicals and waste, as well as properly ventilate ovens used for solvothermal synthesis.
